Have yet to & haven’t … yet
– have yet to + verb = haven’t + PP. yet
Example :
I’ve sent him an e-mail and I have yet to receive a reply.
I have yet to receive a reply means I haven’t received a reply yet. In other words, Yet here gives the idea that I’m still waiting for a reply or I should have received a reply by now.
المعني : من المفترض أن اكون قد تسلمت رد او مازلت في انتظار رد ولكن هذا لم يحدث حتي الآن.
